Rugby - Last Game of 2015!

U15 Girls finish 2015 with first away trip.

U15 girls 11/12/15

Friday afternoon (11th December) saw the Midlothian u15 girls make the short travel to Lismore RFC for their first away game.

With the hosts having their key players back in the squad the Midlothian visitors found it difficult to break the strong defence and even harder to prevent Lismore’s strong runners.

The second and 3rd 20 minutes saw some good rugby from the visitors with a couple of positive trips up the park.

Lismore had too much in the end for their out of city rivals, running out comfortable winners.

Rugby Development officer, James Sloggie added: The girls' game is starting to build again in Midlothian and we are happy with how the game is growing. The players we have are very keen and are making some very positive progress. I’m looking forward to 2016 to see the Midlothian squad grow further and start putting pressure on the more established teams.
