Midlothian's Young Ambassadors for Sport met at Lasswade High School for the annual YA Training Day.
Friday's event allowed the YAs from Beeslack, Dalkeith, St Davids, Penicuik, Lasswade and Dalkeith High School to come together and work on their sporting plan for the year. This year two pupils from each high school in Midlothian will be working to raise the profile of sport within their schools and create an exciting programme of events for pupils.
The day included training in presentation skills, marketing and calendar planning. This year’s YAs were full of enthusiasm and brimming with great ideas. We look forward to seeing their plans put into action over the coming months!
